TEN UNSPOKEN RULES EVERYONE SHOULD KNOW

Hello Lovelies, it’s been a minute, anyway welcome to the month of August. Hope we are all doing good. I've put together some general unspoken rule (not an exhaustive list) I feel everyone should know.

What unspoken rule do you feel everyone should know about? Drop them in the comment section.

1. Respect is a two way thing, treat others with respect. Reciprocating respect it’s not a sign of weakness but a true reflection of your own character.

2. You are not always right, everyone sees things differently, and that’s okay. Acknowledge other’s opinion and show them respect, you do not have to agree to understand to understand their point of view. Remember 2=2 = 4, likewise 3=1=4.

3. When you borrow money, pay it back as soon as possible. Your relationship with the person does not excuse your responsibility and they shouldn't have to chase you for it. This way you’d build trust.

4. When someone is kind enough to let you stay in their home, a little gesture goes a long way. Offer to pitch in on groceries, house chores, and be sure to respect their house rules and curfew.

5. Never take advantage of kind/good people

6. Always say thank you after a service has been rendered. It is common courtesy.

7. A secret shared in confidence should stay a secret, even if the friendship ends. Do not betray someone's trust just because you’ve had a fall out.

8. Avoid asking deep personal questions like, ‘’Why aren't you married?’’ or ‘’Why don’t you have kids or more kids?’’? Understand it is not your story to know unless they choose to share it.

9. Put your phone away when someone is talking to you. Constantly checking your phone is disrespectful and makes the other person feel unimportant.

10. When visiting a sick friend or family member, consider bringing a small girt like a basket of fruit or a home cooked meal to cheer them up.
