DRESSY OR CASUAL: TWO UNIQUE LOOKS FROM ONE MATERIAL

Hello Lovelies, how are we all doing? Happy New Month, if it isn’t late for one.

Get ready for a double dose of style inspiration. Today, I’m excited to share two unique designs made from the stunning African print ’Adire’. I was gifted this Adire print by a colleague. This post has been sitting in my draft for months now, but I’m finally sharing it with y’all. If you are a regular reader, you might recall a previous post where I talked about how we were not allowed to take pictures in a mall. Well, this is the blog post, if you notice there are two different backgrounds as we had to leave to a different location. Although I wasn’t entirely satisfied with how this shoot turned out, because of the incident that happened. I’ve decided to share it anyway. Life isn’t perfect and perfection is overrated.

For the dressy look, I opted for a chic blue pointy heel that perfectly matched the tone of the Adire fabric - what a lucky find. Given the bold pattern of  the dress, I chose to style it with a touch of elegance. I’m curious to know: what do you think of this look? Does the blue heel elevate the overall style, or would you suggest a different approach?

For the casual look, I initially envisioned pairing the Adire piece with sneakers, but unfortunately, my current pair didn’t quite fit the vibe. Normally, sneakers are my go - to choice for rompers. Did the photos do justice to these stunning Adire prints? I received tons of compliments on both outfits, so I’m guessing my tailor nailed these styles. Which look is your favorite?
