FOOD ON THE GO: QUICK BITES FROM JAY'S DINER

Hello Lovelies, How are we all doing? The other day, I went to a a diner that brought back memories of university casual outings in diaspora. The venue was an open air space with a relaxed vibe, allowing guests to enjoy fresh air while savoring delicious food.

Although I forgot to capture the diner area, I did snap a few of the tasty meals I had.

Here are some highlights:

  • Cake Parfait: It was a velvet cake cut in cube forms an it was tasty, although the creamy was a bit too sweet for me.
  • American Hot dog: My expectation for this particular dish was low, however, I kid you not, the moment I tasted it. It was perfection with a blend of mustard, ketchup and etc. Was my best.

  • Honey grilled chicken and crispy fried Chicken wings : You cannot go wrong with chicken, but this one didn’t cut it for me. There was something off with the flavors, though it was tender.

I also had Nigerian jollof rice, and it was okay, the food was truly tasty and the atmosphere was lively and enjoyable.
